This session aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the benefits and opportunities that tokenization brings to the renewable energy sector, as well as to investors. We will discuss how tokenization can be an attractive alternative to traditional bank financing for impact projects in developing countries, as well as for established renewable energy players in Europe and Japan. We will also explain how tokenization, combined with real-world asset data recorded "on-chain", can form a "Unified Golden Record" to bring significantly improved transparency and valuation efficiency. Additionally, we will delve into an example of how a security token contract, combined with an on-chain record of real-time sensor data can autonomously generate new revenue streams, such as renewable energy certificates and carbon credits - and distribute the revenue shares to investors. Lastly, we will look into how the concept of tokenization plus on-chain records can provide similar value to other asset classes such as robots or farming projects.
