Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Adrian E. Alvarez, Esq. is a Supervising Attorney in the School of Law's Startup Clinic. He is a three-time alumnus of the University of Miami, graduating in 2007 with a B.B.A in International Finance and Marketing, and earning both a J.D. and M.B.A. in 2011 and 2012 respectively. Adrian is a serial entrepreneur, having started, amongst others, a test prep company in 2007 (PrepSmart), a boutique law firm in 2012 (Adrian E. Alvarez, PL), a traffic ticket data services company in 2013 (SnapLeads), and his current project, InvestReady, an accredited investor & securities compliance platform, also founded in 2013. He was also the head of consulting for Security Token Advisors from early 2021 through late 2022 and continues to provide startup consulting services through his Digital Asset Securities Advisor (DASA) consultancy. He's a big Canes football fan and a sci-fi and comic geek at heart, an artist, writer, guitar and karaoke aficionado, and has resided in Los Angeles since 2017.
